About The Band
Made up of Beth on vocals, Andy on guitar and vocals, Luke on bass, and John on drums, the band bring years of professional experience to the stage with a fresh and exciting edge that feels anything but ordinary.
Together, Neon Rodeo combine their individual strengths to create a band that sounds as big as it looks. With dual lead vocals, polished musicianship, and a genre bending setlist, they are perfectly positioned for couples and clients looking for something new, exciting, and memorable.
From their first rehearsal, the chemistry was instant, and every performance since has proved they were meant to ride together.
Beth on Vocals
Hey y’all, I’m Bethany Anniemae, singer, songwriter, and full-time country-pop fanatic. Ever since I could reach the high notes on a Dolly Parton record I’ve been hooked on music. My influences range from Dolly and Christina Aguilera to a bit of Elvis swagger, so expect a set that blends powerhouse vocals with classic country soul.
I’m happiest on stage with my band, sharing songs that get everyone singing along. Playing weddings is extra special for me, there’s nothing like being part of such a joyful day, seeing everyone’s faces light up when their favourite song comes on, and creating memories they’ll talk about for years.
Off stage, you’ll usually find me exploring new hiking trails, planning my next travel adventure, or curled up with my dog, scribbling down lyrics for my next country track. Oh, and I’m currently learning to tame an acoustic guitar, pray for my fingers!.
Andy on Guitar
Hey guys, I’m Andy, guitarist, vocalist, and general all-round music lover. My love for guitar started with the legends: Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Eddie Van Halen, and later mellowed with influences like John Mayer and Keith Urban. I do also love bands such as Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and any modern indie stuff. Whether it’s country, pop, rock, blues, or a cheeky bit of indie, if it’s got a groove, I’m in.
I love getting up on stage and seeing a packed dance floor, knowing the band’s bringing people together and making their night unforgettable. There’s no feeling like it, especially at weddings where everyone’s ready to celebrate.
When I’m not playing music, you’ll probably find me on the golf course, shooting pool, under a car bonnet, or taking my indoor cat out for a walk (yes, he has his own little harness).
Luke on Bass
I’m Luke, the guy on bass, laying down the groove that keeps the dancefloor moving. I’ve always looked up to legends like James Jamerson, Pino Palladino, and Nathan Watts, the masters of making the music groove.
My music taste was kickstarted when I first listened to my dad’s old Black Sabbath records, but in my years of playing music it has become broad, from Stevie Wonder, The Jacksons, to country artists like Luke Combs and Willie Nelson, and to the classics like the Beach Boys and Tina Turner. I’m also big on current bands like Fontaines D.C. and electronic artists like Bonobo, anything with raw energy and great songs! The only song I won’t play is Wonderwall, so please don’t request it.
Playing weddings is something I genuinely love. There’s nothing like the energy a live band brings to an event, and seeing everyone fully let loose and enjoy themselves is the best feeling. Knowing the couple can let their hair down after a hectic day and soak up every moment is what makes this job so rewarding.
When I’m not on stage, you’ll probably find me out braving the mountains in Wales or Scotland, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, or spending far too much money on yet another guitar.
John on Drums
I’m John, the guy at the back making sure your feet can’t stop moving. My drumming is inspired by everything from hip hop and jazz to disco, electronic, and rock. I love blending these styles to create grooves that are dynamic and always keep things interesting.
For me, playing live is about channelling pure energy, connecting with the crowd, and driving the beat that makes a dancefloor come alive. There’s nothing better than looking out mid-song and seeing people absolutely lost in the music, celebrating one of the biggest days of their lives.
When I’m not behind the kit, you’ll find me digging for new vinyl, nerding out over drum gear, or hunting down the next best cycling spots. Can’t wait to bring my passion and rhythms to your big day and keep those feet dancing all night.
